Urgh. SPU is boring…Well I haven’t even started it yet tbh hehe, just about to though. Should be entertaining though, having to learn about how exactly scientists go about slaying animals 
Why I chose this subject I don’t know..It’s ridiculas how many video’s there are of rabbits, dogs, cats, mice, chimps etc etc being slaughtered. Also, I feel as though I owe them enough dignity to watch them aswell…but its disgusting how much exposure a killing vid can get. If every person watching would give a pound then we’d be well on our way to stopping unneccesary testing. Even 1p would do…
Pig farming - Pigs have to stand for their entire lives. Pregnant sows will be electrocuted with a cattle prod to keep them off the ground if they try to lie down
Mice – “Simple” animals apparently need no anesthetic when limbs are removed
Cats&Dogs- Don’t watch the video’s, they will make you feel sick. In the meat trade they are both packed in wicker baskets/cages in their hundreds and then dropped off trucks like rubbish. Both are imhumanely slaughtered in front of other caged animals
Foxes/Mink/Cats/Dogs/Chinchillas/Rabbits – Hung upside down by their back legs and skinned alive. Just don’t watch the video’s..
Can’t stand researching for this subject, but too late to change now
